How does online booking work?

The client picks an activity, the number of courses — the sliding-scale rate appears right away — their level, their participants, then their slots. They pay by card via Stripe and receive the confirmation by email straight away.

What payment methods are supported?

The platform supports card payment via Stripe, partial payment with a deposit, and offline settlement (cash, cheque). Admins can also send a payment link by email, or copy that link to pass it on through whichever channel they like.

How does sliding-scale pricing work?

Each activity has its own scale: the more courses a client books in a single booking, the less each one costs. The price depends only on that basket — never on the client's history — and it appears at the very first step. Conditional rates (weekends, low season) can apply on top, and admins can grant a discount or set a price outright. Prepaid course packs are coming back very soon.

Is the platform truly multilingual?

Yes, 5 languages are natively supported: French, English, Portuguese, Spanish, and German. The language is detected automatically, each language has its own URL, and the entire interface is translated (navigation, forms, emails, error messages).

The platform is designed for all sports and wellness activities: water sports (surf, paddle, kayak), outdoor (mountain biking, climbing, hiking), wellness (yoga, pilates, meditation), snow sports (skiing, snowboarding), and much more.

How are cancellations and refunds handled?

Clients can cancel their bookings from their personal portal (subject to conditions). The admin can issue full or partial refunds in one click from the back-office. The reason is recorded and the client is automatically notified by email.

No, OTOY BOOKING charges zero commission on your bookings. You only pay standard Stripe fees on credit card payments. Your monthly subscription gives you access to all the features included in your plan.
